We have chosen Stevenage as a stop for day trips to Cambridge and London. Apart from its convenient location, Stevenage does not have much to offer.

I stayed at the Abbington Hotel as I went to the Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth. The Hotel was excellent value for money. Confortable room, great breakfast (included in the price) and all-round good value for money.

Its a long time since I stayed in a smaller hotel as most of my business travel takes me to city centres and the large chain hotels. This was a very pleasant suprise ! I booked late the night before (was the only thing I could find due to Wimbledon) and was expecting a low budget bed for the night. How wrong I was !!! Really enjoyed my stay, people friendly, room excellent, clean, tidy, interesting and welcoming. Strongly recommended ! Its also a very short walk into the old part of Stevenage which is well worth a visit.

Really helpful friendly staff and good location

The Abbington hotel is small and the staff are very friendly. The rooms we stayed in were of good size and clean. The facilities within the room were above average.
